Program Details

Vision and Mission of Computer Engineering Department

Vision:

To achieve excellence in Computer Engineering by imparting technical and problem solving skills along with ethical value to meet industrial requirements having social and environmental concern.

Mission:

  1. To provides a learning ambience to enhance discipline knowledge, technical skill and problem solving skill.
  2. To motivates students for lifelong learning to adapt challenges in rapidly changing technology.
  3. To induces ethical values and spirit of social commitment.
  4. To provide opportunities to promote leadership skill required in computer engineering industry’s diverse culture.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

  • PEO1: Pursue career as a Computer Professional by adopting emerging and trending technology as lifelong learner.
  • PEO2: Be an entrepreneur to provide solutions for problems related to Computer and allied domains.
  • PEO3: Provide solutions for well-defined Computer related societal and environmental problems with professional ethics.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs):

  • PSO1: Develop web based software solutions using Open Source Technology.
  • PSO2: ADevelop Mobile Applications for Android Devices.

4 GB RAM
64-bit Windows 7 Operating System
Standard Keyboard and Mouse
Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer Browsers

Various Software includes:
Visual Studio 2008
Android SDK
WAMP (Apache Server, MySQL, PHP)
Oracle 10g
JDK & JRE
Eclipse
Turbo C++ etc.
Microsoft Office 2010

Various Hardware includes:
Computer Peripherals and Interfaces: Hard Disk, Mouse, Keyboard, DVD Drive, Floppy Drive.
3 Printers cum Scanners and one printer.

Layer 2 Switch (D-Link)

Labs are equipped with total 5 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) with backup upto ~2 hours.

Apart from these major equipments, the department has switches and hubs to provide interconnectivity between various systems.

The computer facility is open from 10.30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all working days.
